APRIL 9: WORKSHOPS BY GROW IT LOCAL (ADL)

The Adelaide Sustainability Centre is hosting a jam-packed Saturday with three practical workshops for the conscious individual. All located at The Joinery in Adelaide’s CBD, these workshops provide a practical answer to all those questions you’ve been having about sustainability.

10am - 12pm | Food Gardening for Beginners | $10

Are you an aspiring or beginner gardener? Come learn the basics for becoming a green thumb! Including where and what to plant when, watering, soil prep and more. Register here.

1pm - 2pm | Natural Pest Management | $7

Come learn about common pests and diseases, how to diagnose pest problems, and cheap, safe and effective management techniques. Register here.

2:30pm - 3:30pm | Worm farms | $7

Join this practical workshop about worm farm benefits, how to start your own, keeping worms happy and healthy and using castings. Register here.

APRIL 9: GREATER DANDENONG SUSTAINABILITY FESTIVAL 2022 (VIC)

From clothing swaps, to live music, the Greater Dandenong Sustainability Festival has something for everyone! Located at Springvale Community Hub, this is a free, family friendly event with fun and interactive activities, covering a wide range of sustainability themes.

APRIL 14: BOROONDARA SCHOOL HOLIDAY SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM: TOWARD ZERO WASTE (VIC)

Need a way to get the kids learning during the school holidays? This workshop, aimed at kids aged 5-8, helps your kids to learn about compost, and how to reduce, reuse and recycle our waste.

APRIL 24: CLEAN UP THE PARKS CONVERSATIONS EVENT (VIC)

Want to meet like-minded individuals and learn more about the small and big ways we can have a better impact on our planet? This FREE afternoon event is for Gen Z & Millennials to learn & discuss topics surrounded by sustainability while clean up our streets at the same time!
