On Sunday, March 26th at 11 am, we held an exclusive event on air tightness testing at a unique strawbale house in our community. With only 25 tickets available, this event was an exciting opportunity to witness a live demonstration of an air tightness test and learn about the importance of air tightness and its impact on energy efficiency.
Designed by SUHO in 2017, the local home showcased the benefits of strawbale construction and energy efficiency. As a community partner for Sustainable House Day, we were committed to promoting sustainability and energy efficiency in our community.
We were thrilled to see such a passionate homeowner, Dylan, who generously hosted us and shared his wealth of knowledge about sustainable living. Dylan's commitment to sustainable living was evident in his home, which was designed to be energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
Our air tightness guru, Darren Harris, used a blower door test to measure the air tightness of the home, uncovering hidden air leaks that may be impacting energy efficiency. The live demonstration was interactive and engaging, with plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.
Attendees left the event feeling empowered and equipped with the knowledge to make a difference in their own homes' air tightness. As an expert consulting firm specialising in energy efficiency, sustainability, and air tightness for residential and commercial properties, we provided customised solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
We're grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such a wonderful event, and we're committed to continuing to promote sustainable living and energy efficiency in our community.
