Now, more than ever, we know that our climate is changing and that the built environment’s contribution to global warming is only rising. SUHO’s sustainability rating service is addressing this by acknowledging the importance that these rating tools play in achieving sustainable outcomes in projects.
SUHO is committed to the principles of sustainable development which meets the needs of the present
without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. SUHO has experience and a proven track record in developing and implementing environmentally sustainable design (ESD) principles and best practice in building projects. Successful execution of projects with sustainable principles is one of our greatest strengths. We achieve this by aligning our clients’ expectations and budget with the local climate and environment to effectively manage cost, use of materials, natural resources and energy.
Our projects include commercial, retail and educational developments all over Australia. Our team is involved in new buildings and renovating existing buildings. When involved in new buildings, we believe in the power of the collective team and having a design charrette as early in the project as possible to ensure the success of the chosen sustainability certifications. With existing buildings, it requires a combined approach of carrying out energy audits on the existing sections and recommending strategies for additions or renovations in regards to comfort, air flow, wind comfort and temperature distribution.
Our services include:
• Green Star: Design & As Built Performance
• WELL Building Standard
• Living Building Challenge
